Breakcore_LABS was initiated at closing event for YIVF#04 – Yogyakarta International Videowork Festival organized by The House of Natural Fiber [HONF] – Yogyakarta New Media Art Laboratory. After 10 years of building, organizing and supporting electronic music scene and event, HONF presented breakcore_LABS; an open platform for breakcore music scene in Indonesia.
As a launching of the platform, breakcore_LABS first event established from small community consist of several electronic musicians, DJs and VJs from Yogyakarta with the same interest in Breakcore music genre. Outputs projected out of this platform may vary from collaboration, networking, sharing and discussion. Breakcore_LABS will sustainably produce breakcore_LABS events, though it’s not yet on regular schedule. This platform is open for local and international musician and visual artist with interest in Breakcore music scene. Breakcore_LABS welcome any posts with topics related to Breakcore music.
